What is iCallAbroad USA? iCallAbroad USA is an international calling card program that allows you to place long distance and international calls at a fraction of some providers. Whether calling from your home phone, office phone or mobile phone, with iCallAbroad USA you can still place these calls at rates as low as 5 cents/ minute.
How do I purchase iCallAbroad USA?

What other charges are there?

Apart from the rate per minute to call your desired destination there are no other charges of any kind - which means there are:

  • NO Monthly or Weekly Service Fees
  • NO Connection Charges
  • NO Disconnection Charges
Do your rates ever change?

Our rates are available 24 hours a day and will not change based on the time of day you call - so you can call during the day or night and still get the same great rate!

Why are your mobile rates higher? In most countries around the world, mobile phone users are not charged to recieve incoming calls. What this means is that it then falls on the person calling that mobile to pay the charges. This is known as "calling party pays". This is the reason why calling a mobile is more often than not more expensive than calling a landline - and unfortunately its the same with all calling cards!
Are there any minimum usage requirements? No! There are no minimum usage requiresment on the service. Simpy use the service as often as you need and you like!
What is the billing increment? All calls are billed per minute
How quickly can I use the service after I sign up? After signing up for the service we ask that you confirm your account, please do this by clicking on your activation email and then your account is open and ready to use! You can be calling in a matter of minutes...
What payment options do you offer? We currently offer payments by the three main credit card carriers which are Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and we now offer paypal payments.
How do you protect my credit card information? The information submitted on our web site is protected by the highest level of industry-standard SSL encryption. All of the credit card or checking account information received is then encrypted a second time and stored on our secure billing servers.
Is the voice quality good on international calls? Yes! We use only Tier 1 long-distance providers (such as QWest) to provide our long-distance network. The telecommunications service in some foreign countries, is not quite as good as what we are accustomed to in the US, but the call quality for iCallAbroad calls should be no better or no worse than what you expect when you make a call to a particular state or country.
Does iCallAbroad USA work with all carriers?

Yes! iCallAbroad USA works with all local and cellular carriers. Simply register to use the Service and let your savings begin.

Can I use iCallAbroad USA from anywhere in the world?

NO! iCallAbroad USA is a calling card for those calling from the USA. If you need other options please see:

 

Service Answers:

What is my Account/ PIN Number and where can I get it?

When using our service, you can benefit from the PIN-less dialing feature by registering up to three phone numbers with us. When you call from one of these numbers, the system will recognize you and your account and allow you to call internationally at our great low rates. If you are not calling from one of these numbers, the system will ask for your "account number" which is a PIN number you will need to enter to access the service.

If you did not request a PIN when you signed up, we will not supply you with one - however to obtain this you will need to log into your account and then click on "Virtual Calling Card" which will provide you with your PIN/ Account Number.

My credit card has been declined - why?

If your credit card has been declined it is most likely due to that fact that your billing address does not exactly match the address your credit card company has on file for you. If this happens please re-apply through our online form, making sure that all fields are exactly as your credit card company has on file for you and it should go through.

I am calling from my registered number but it is still asking for my account number - why?

If you are dialing from one of your registered numbers and you are still being asked for your Account/ PIN Number there could be a few reasons for this:

  1. If you are using an office line from work you could be dialling from any number as most office lines are not physically assigned to you - so although you have a direct inbound number, your office phone system could route your outgoing call on another line. If this happens our system will not recognize the number and then prompt for your PIN/ Account Number.
  2. If you are calling from your home phone or mobile phone and your are withholding your number our system may not be able to recognize you so make sure this feature is turned on.

When I dial I cannot get through or get a busy signal?

There could be several reasons why you are getting this and they most commonly are:

  • You are dialing the incorrect country calling code
  • The telephone number you are calling is wrong

The rate on the website is not the same rate when I call - why?

There could be several reasons for this:

  • Our rates vary depending on whether you are using our local or toll free access, with our local access offering lower rates.
  • Calls to mobile phones are listed separately and are often much higher than calling a landline.

Please be sure to check out our full rate table which highlights all our rates - we do not have any other charges apart from the per minute rates listed.

How do I recharge my account?

To recharge your account all you need to do is log into your online account center. From there you will be able to either manually recharge your account or set up automatic recharge.

Can I authorize more than one phone to use this service? Yes! You can register up to three phone on the iCallAbroad.com calling service. To do this simply log into your account and select "update phone numbers"

Can I cancel my account?

If you sign up for our service in error and contact us within 1 month of opening your account without using our service we will gladly issue a full refund and close your account - please contact us to get this done.

You are also free to cancel your account at anytime, but please make sure to exchaust your balance first and then close your account either by logging into your account interface online or contacting us. We cannot provide refunds on accounts that have been used or are older than 1 month old.
